The Office received a Jiangsu Periodicals Association’s document (Su Kan Xie Zi [2017] No.21): Notice of Jiangsu Periodicals Association on Issuing the Appraisal Results of Characteristic Columns and Excellent Planning for the “Bright Pearl Prize” of 2017. The document indicates that after expert review and approval by the director office meeting, 40 special columns like “Study on Zheng He” of Journal of Nantong Vocational & Technical Shipping College were determined as characteristic columns, and 29 items such as “Constructing the Philosophy and Social Science with Chinese Characteristics •Development Strategy” of Social Sciences in Nanjing were decided as excellent planning. Among them, the “Appraisal Activity of Excellent Scientific and Technological Innovation Papers in the Machinery Industry of Jiangsu Province” sponsored by the Electrotechnics Electric Office was awarded the “Bright Pearl Prize” for Excellent Planning of 2017 by Jiangsu Periodicals Association. 

        This prize not only recognized the Office’s work on creating a quality science and technology periodical for a long time, but also encouraged the Electrotechnics Electric staff. The Office will take this award as a development opportunity, make persistent efforts, concentrate on improving the quality of the periodical and spare no efforts to turn the Electrotechnics Electric into a first-class quality science and technology periodical in China.
